Obtaining a Bol.com Trader Account

Bol.com is one of the largest online shops in the Netherlands. They sell products of their own, but also work with so-called Sales Partners. This means they will import your products/prices and article descriptions and make the sale for you based on a provision fee.

 

During the onboarding period, Bol.com is not strict with its sales partners. However, after launch, they will start measuring and monitoring daily partner performance based on several KPI’s. This way they want to ensure that the quality of each sales partner is to a certain standard.

It is important to know that for any EU based business from outside the Netherlands/Belgium, there are other rules, namely:

  1. Bol.com only works based on invitation-only. 

  2. Bol.com only partners with > € 1 million gross revenue potential per year.

  3. Bol.com only partners with companies that have a strong impact on better price levels and/or the shop range.
